First Things First I'm The Realest

Did I just title this introduction with the first lines of an Iggy Azalea song?  Yes, yes I did.  But you must know that this blog is not for the people who make sense.

This blog is not for the buzzkills, or the people who screw up the punch line to the joke.

This blog is for the people who get a kick out of puns, and who are good at telling them.

This blog is for the people who find beauty in chaos and unsolved problems, and for those who are just terrible at saying what's on their mind.  So basically, this blog is for me.

And who am I?  Well, my pen name says a lot about me.

Not just because I'm a fan of a video game and TV series that has made-up animals fight each other to determine their owner's status, but because the name is sophisticated and childish, which makes me feel pretty clever and creative, so fight me.

The picture above came up from the Google search "beautiful pictures of nature."  Why did I pick it?  Because it was a perfect example of what I was looking for.

Beautiful blues,

Rock formations,

Light.

But notice something else in the picture; a scubadiver.

That scubadiver is my favorite part of the picture.

Why?  Because I'm extremely jealous of him, like I am of a lot of people.

He's in the beauty.  He's experiencing the beauty.

And that's what I want this blog to be; an experience.  Whether you find it beautiful is up to you, but I hope you do.

No pressure.

I love making people experience things, whether it be certain emotions, events, or just things that make me love this messed up world.

I'm sorry if I make you feel an emotion or share with you something that makes you uncomfortable, but that's what makes things more beautiful.  You cannot fully experience beauty until you have at first been absent from it.

I will leave you with a song recommendation:  Empire by Jukebox the Ghost.  For those of you who have a thing with language, I totally understand where you're coming from, so I will warn you that is says "damn" in the chorus.  I remind you of the aforementioned sentence regarding feeling uncomfortable.

My apologies.

But I want you to know that my favorite line is this:

"My heart is my keep."

The line comes before the "damn"s in the song, so you're safe!

That line is the theme of this blog.  Why?  Because I'm not one to trust people with my heart.

But the only thing I have left to say is...

Welcome to my keep.
